Created in 2002 by François-Marie Wojcik and Isabel Levy, two pioneers of value investing in Europe, METROPOLE Gestion is an independent asset management company specialising in stock picking (European equities, euro zone equities and Japanese equities) and bond picking (euro zone bonds and convertibles).
Since then, METROPOLE Gestion has built a comprehensive product range centred on a single philosophy known as value investing (the selection of undervalued stocks with catalysts). This concept, introduced in Europe by François-Marie Wojcik in the late 1990s and subsequently refined by Isabel Levy, is rooted in a simple principle: by purchasing a stock below its actual value, investors can minimise risks and optimise profitability in the medium term.
