  At the press conference held at the offices of METROPOLE Gestion on 14 February 2012, François-Marie WOJCIK, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Isabel LEVY, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, took stock of the company as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012, focusing on why it is headed into its second decade under the best auspices.
  With net new money of nearly EUR 400 million and AuM of more than EUR 2 billion in 2011, a solid balance sheet and an experienced, renowned portfolio management team, METROPOLE Gestion is ready, willing and able to embark on the maturity stage of its development.
  METROPOLE Gestion is focusing its efforts on its time-tested areas of expertise: Value investing, Convertible bonds and diversified portfolio management, as well as SRI portfolio management.
  
  The company has strengthened its organization centred on its two founders, FrançoisMarie WOJCIK and Isabel LEVY, relying on five next-generation managers: Alexandre GARDEL, Head of Sales Institutional Clients France, Markus HAMPEL, Executive Director, Country Head Germany and Romuald de LENCQUESAING, Head of Sales Selection, Cédric HERENG and Ingrid TRAWINSKI, Deputy Heads of Portfolio Management.

• METROPOLE Value SRI receives the Diversum Finance label

  September 2011: METROPOLE Value SRI received the 2011 Diversum Finance label. The purpose of this label is to use socially responsible investment to encourage corporations and local administrations to fulfil their cultural responsibilities.

• METROPOLE Gestion takes part in the Cedrus Partners Round Table

  On 12 October 2011, METROPOLE Gestion participated in the Round Table organised by AG24 La Mondiale and its partner Cedrus Partners during second annual SRI Week. The theme of the Round Table was: "Research, the new frontier of SRI: the issues surrounding link between Investors, Asset Management Companies and Universities." Isabel Levy, CEO and Head of Portfolio Management of METROPOLE Gestion, and Benjamin Williams, Lecturer at the Université d'Auvergne, gave a presentation on the latest achievements of our partnership initiated in 2010.

• METROPOLE Gestion took part in the AFG conference in London

  Professional Wealth Management (PWM), in association with the Association Française de la Gestion financière (AFG), presented ‘Boosting Your Global Investment Opportunities’, a full-day event utilising Paris fund industry expertise to help maximise the global investment opportunities. Management companies, French boutiques as and market-leading institutional investors from London and Paris took part in this event.

• METROPOLE Value SRI receives the Novethic SRI label 2011

  METROPOLE Value SRI has received the Novethic SRI label for the second year in a row.
  There are four requirements for obtaining the Novethic SRI label:

  - An Environmental, Social and Governance analysis covering at least 90% of the portfolio must be performed, systematically incorporating all three ESG criteria;
  - The SRI selection process must be described publicly and transparently by the fund promoter;
  - The asset manager must regularly provide information on the SRI characteristics of the companies in which the portfolio is invested;
  - The portfolio's entire composition must be reported on a regular basis.

  METROPOLE Gestion received the "Trophée d’or 2011" for its Euro Zone Equities management over 3 years in the "top investment fund category"  according to Le Revenu. The magazine, which selects the best fund management professionals each year, considers METROPOLE Gestion to be one of the two "most promising" fund managent companies, awarding a special mention.

• METROPOLE Gestion at the “Forum GI” trade fair

  METROPOLE Gestion will be taking part in the “Forum GI”, the annual institutional asset management trade fair in France, held on March 16 and 17, 2011 at the Palais des Congrès convention hall in Paris (stand A2). We have attended this event since it was created in 2005.
