  • METROPOLE Gestion presents its research partnership with the University of Auvergne

    Within the framework of managing the METROPOLE Value SRI fund, METROPOLE Gestion has entered into a partnership with the University of Auvergne, in the interest of expanding the definition of as well as research into the socially responsible investment universe.

    METROPOLE Gestion implements a responsible approach to value investing, with stocks chosen from the "Best in Class" or "Best Effort" members of their category. This philosophy is applied to the METROPOLE Value SRI fund. Since its inception in July 2008, this fund has delivered a performance of +12.35% versus -15.43% for the Euro Stoxx Large (data taken at 31/12/2010).

    These funds have generated solid returns since their inception, across the full market cycle:

    • METROPOLE Sélection: 100.05% versus 8.30% for the STOXX Large index
    • METROPOLE France: 83.09% versus 15.92% for the SBF 120 index
    • METROPOLE Euro: 69.52% versus 3.91% for the Euro STOXX Large index

  • METROPOLE Value SRI ranked the top "Best in Class" euro zone fund

    November 2010: METROPOLE Value SRI stands at the head of the "Best in Class" euro zone funds according to the ranking by Cedrus Partners which appeared in the "Spécial Novethic" edition of Option Finance magazine.

    Its performance at the 12th of November 2010 was 9.8%, versus 4.2% for the Euro Stoxx TR Eur and an average of 4.3% for the Best in Class euro zone category.

  • METROPOLE Value SRI receives the Novethic label

    September 2010: METROPOLE Value SRI receives the Novethic label. This label is awarded to socially responsible investment funds incorporating ESG criteria. The portfolio managers must publicly explain the nature of the SRI practices used and regularly publish a report on the fund's SRI characteristics.
